Ricardo Ortiz

Ricardo Ortiz is the Community Health Specialist at the Community Health Council of Wyandotte County. He is also a licensed health insurance agent for Kansas Assistance Network. Ricardo has a background in U.S. politics from the University of Kansas. As Community Health Specialist Ricardo co-leads Servicing LIPPS, the civic engagement initiative of the Health Equity Action Transformation Community Action Board (H.E.A.T. CAB). Ricardo also co-leads the Healthy Environment Coalition (HEC), which works on issues related to environmental justice issues in Wyandotte County. He also enrolls clients into Medicaid and Marketplace.
